Beginning to Intermediate Digital Photography - 15 hours of Instruction
Do you want to learn how to make pictures, not just take pictures?  Then, this class is for you.  Award-winning photographer Shirley Whitenack will teach this photography class that will unleash your creativity as you learn to take control of your camera.  Basic camera mechanics, fundamentals of exposure, and compositional techniques will be explained.   Field trip and in-class exercises will emphasize learning how to fully utilize directional light, determine proper exposure, and exploit depth of field to create dramatic compositions.
Through lecture, demonstration, and on-location photography, you will leave this class with a working knowledge of your digital camera and the ability to create outstanding images.  Bring your fully-charged camera, instruction manual, and digital media.  Class wrap-up will include a discussion of printing options, organizing and archiving images, photo resources, critique, and follow-up questions.  Each participant will receive photography handouts to keep for future reference
