Need more community service hours? Looking to enhance your applications for honor societies, scholarships or colleges? Just want to meet new friends while giving back to your community?  United for Impact is a four-day United Way program designed to help students in grades 9-12 enhance their leadership abilities, build teamwork skills, and meet like -minded peers while creating positive change in their community. Come learn the importance of community service and volunteerism through hands-on experience while working on service projects at various local nonprofits. Experience a team-based environment and gain a valuable combination of knowledge, skills, values, and motivation to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors. At the end of each session, participants will earn a Community Service Certificate, a letter of recommendation and a list of available opportunities to continue serving as a catalyst for positive change in our community. Class fee covers the cost of a tee shirt and supplies for the community service projects. Projects will include a combination of on-site and off-site experiences. Offered in partnership with the Franklin-Southampton Area United Way.
